There are many diverse worth causes.
One of the problems is bringing those voices together so that they create a roar that cannot be ignored. A weakened and corrupted legal system and judiciary lies at the heart of many inequalities in society.
We need a FREE AND FAIR legal system just as much as we need a universal education and health care system.
I am also concerned that an RC into banking may be limited if the many failings of our legal system are not addressed at the same time.
Will the RC simply accept the bogus court judgments? Will it have the power, and if it does have the power, will it elect to go-behind them?
I am interested in people’s ideas and thoughts on this.
MY PETITION ON CHANGE.ORG
https://www.change.org/p/justice-for-all-people-reclaim-the-law-demand-a...
Our legal system is failing all of us, in so many ways!
It has become nothing more than a "lawyers game", at the taxpayer's expense!
It is expensive, inefficient, divorced from justice and open to manipulation.
Money rules! 'The dollar' decides what is right and wrong, what is 'fair and just'; and who wins and who will lose.
1. Demand a new FREE & FAIR fact-finding, truth-seeking, legal system.
"Justice for the people, by the people, of the people."
Justice - what is fair and right - is NOT a concept "beyond" the grip of most ordinary Australians. Yet we have a judiciary that insists that it is something that must be "handed down" to us "mere mortals" from on high.
We ask for justice but what we received is "the law" covered up in some mystic language, with strict obscure procedures and archaic customs; so as to deliberately ensure that its powers remain only accessible to a certain elitist group and of course - the very wealthy.
It is the people's will to re-claim the law. They will engage in extensive community consultations the entire length and breadth of this country and determine their own new path.
If it is the will of the people, with or without the assistance of legal experts to make what changes they deem necessary to achieve the above via community consultation process. (See point 3.)
2. A FULLY FLEDGED ROYAL COMMISSION INTO THE JUDICIARY, COURTS AND LEGAL SYSTEM
Our legal system is corrupted and weakened. The complete disconnect between ‘the law’ and ‘justice’ is not acceptable.Too many good honest hard-working Australians have had their lives all but destroyed when they innocently fell down that great gaping chasm!
The way in which our legal system has manipulated to serve the interests of a greedy psychopathic corporate elite is not acceptable.
The way in which our legal system has been used to disempower and silence whistle-blowers (and even our elected representatives) is not acceptable.
The way in which our legal system has proved itself to be unable to admit and correct its own errors is not acceptable.
It does not operate in the interests of the wider community CANNOT continue to be legitimately funded by the taxpayer.
3. COMMUNITY CONSULTATION may consider, but not confined to -
- the introduction of the jury trials at all levels,
- the introduction of compulsory legal education at schools at all levels,
- re-statement of the constitution if required,
- amendments to the constitution if required,
- revision of the penalties, fines and incarceration,
- an examination of inquisitional vs adversarial and hybrid systems,
- restoration of civil rights and liberties,
- the limiting the appointments of judges to 5-7 years,
- increasing the number of high court judges eg to 100,
- creating more diversity amongst judges so that they are representative of the diversity of the wider community,
- any other matters as deemed fit.

Thanks for sharing lorainemc, definitely on the right track there - the bigger picture is complete reform! Australians deserve to know the truth, deserve to have a system that works on their behalf and need to come together and demand that there is an end to the way things are going - before it is too late!
Brilliant petition - I encourage all to sign this.
