Firstly – the time frame for submissions must be extended to at least four weeks. The Albanese government shows contempt for Australians by only allowing 24 hours for submissions. This is a rushed process suggestive of corrupt collusion between the major parties. Any politician supporting this Bill should be ashamed and embarrassed..... and probably should step down because they are most certainly not serving the interests of the people or the nation.

The government really should just stop the charade. This Bill has nothing to do with protecting children.

Fortunately - thanks to the current real time free flow of information via social media many people are very much aware that there is a global push for rules and regulations that control populations. We refer to this as “managing the livestock” or “herd control.”

America, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and much of Europe are in a similar position. There is intense pressure to limit freedom of speech – particularly online communication. Tyrants engage in this routinely. Think about attempts to suppress and control the early printing presses. Power structures really don’t like the serfs exposing, discussing, & challenging abuses and other forms of treachery by the elite.

Australians well know that we don’t have a brilliant leadership that is battling hard to bring in policies that will make the lives of citizens better. No …. our politicians seem to be just here to put in place policies dictated to them by foreign powers and entities.

The Under 16s Social Media Ban, the Digital ID, the Misinformation Bill, and even the recently proposed Electoral Reforms are all related. They have no place in a sovereign nation wanting to live in civilised freedom.

It is impossible to keep under 16s off phones and computers that can access social media. The Bill is obviously designed to capture a digital ID of all people over 16. The Bill absolutely will not solve the problem politicians purport to care so much about.
The Bill will enable the harvesting of data and the creation of a very detailed profile of every citizen. The potential uses of this information are frightening. More than frightening … truly Orwellian.

If governments were really concerned about children there would be plenty of clear signs.

A few examples of politicians failing to protect children:

Allowing housing and many essential costs of living to become unaffordable.
Allowing foreigners to purchase Australian homes.
Allowing foreigners to launder money in Australian real-estate.
Allowing unsustainable immigration.
Allowing gambling advertising.
Allowing one of the wealthiest countries in the world to stagnate with a declining  
  standard of living for most families.
Allowing all manner of toxic substances into commonly consumed foods.
Allowing much of the population to become overweight and suffer from various chronic
  diseases (this applies to many kids but parents with chronic disease have challenges
  caring for their kids).
Allowing children to begin high school without proper first aid training. The life they
  could save is a younger sibling or parent.
Allowing the use of schools and mainstream media to spread propaganda.
Allowing $400 Billion of Australians’ wealth to be transferred to the American military
  industrial complex via the scandalous AUKUS deal.
Allowing children under 16 to be jailed.
Allowing child exploitation and trafficking.
 
A much simpler way for parents to manage their young children’s exposure to various apps on phones, tablets, and computers is to set up the devices without the apps of concern on them. At the same time the children do not have the required permissions on the device to install apps. The government could easily get the required information to parents but let’s face it … the government does not want a simple, cheap, safe and effective solution.

This Social Media Ban is yet another example of the old 1 - 2 - 3 punch routine. Problem - Reaction - Solution.

First, public opinion is softened up with carefully placed stories at opportune times. The idea is to plant the seed that some "problem" exists and it is just begging for some fixing. People are then prodded toward a desired "reaction." Ideally to demand that a trustworthy politician takes swift and effective action. The preferred "solution" is of course predetermined and in fact may only be loosely related to the "problem." The behind scenes manipulators just need to make their "solution" look reasonable ...... and perhaps even inevitable to the public.

The real problem is that lots of people in the world are nasty bullies. Brutality is part of the human condition. Many of the biggest bullies occupy positions of power in business and politics. Our own Federal Government has some of the nastiest characters in the country prowling the corridors. No other workplace tolerates what goes on in our most powerful institutions. I won’t list examples here but the mental health impacts on staff and colleagues have been well researched and documented.

We should always try to promote civilised interactions between people. The core principles we should cherish and teach are not respected and discussed in schools or the media. Individuals and corporations should not initiate the use of force, fraud, or coercion in their dealings. To live in civilised freedom the fundamental rights to Life, Liberty, and Property Ownership must be celebrated, respected, cherished, and protected.

The major parties have well proven with this Bill that they are not working in the country’s interests. The ALP will be wiped out at the 2025 election. Albanese is a master political alchemist. He has managed to make Dutton electable. Dutton’s support for this Bill will see the primary vote of each of the major parties sink below 30% - something to look forward to. People do realise that it was the LNP that started the ball rolling with the “online safety” and “misinformation” crusades. People are crying out for the country to reclaim its sovereignty, and it can now only be done with decent candidates from independent and minor parties.

Bank Reform Now would like to see Prime Minister Albanese stand up for Australia’s sovereignty and set an example for the rest of the world by refusing to implement the policies being pushed by various elite pressure groups. Australians can demonstrate to the world what is possible when key rights are genuinely respected.
